We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interventional Neurologist to join our agile and growing medical team. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified/eligible Neurologist with specialized training in interventional neurology procedures, including but not limited to endovascular treatment of stroke, aneurysm coiling, thrombectomy, and arteriovenous malformation interventions. This is a full-time position offering a stimulating, collaborative environment, access to state-of-the-art equipment, and a strong referral base.
The role demands a proactive, patient-centric professional who demonstrates expertise in diagnosing and treating neurological conditions and performing advanced interventional procedures. Candidates with 2 to 10 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic neurological disorders, including ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, aneurysms, vascular malformations, and other neurovascular conditions.
- Perform minimally invasive endovascular procedures including cerebral angiography, thrombectomy, coiling, stenting, and embolization.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, and critical care specialists to develop individualized care plans.
- Participate in emergency stroke response protocols (Code Stroke)
and provide timely intervention in acute stroke management.
- Conduct patient assessments, order diagnostic tests, interpret results, and monitor post-operative recovery.
- Educate patients and their families about diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, and post-procedure care.
- Document medical records accurately and promptly following all regulatory and compliance guidelines.
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives, case discussions, and departmental meetings.
- Engage in research and continuous professional development in the field of neurology and neurointervention.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- MBBS with MD/DNB in Neurology from a recognized institution; DM in Interventional Neurology or equivalent training preferred.
- Valid medical license to practice in [Insert Country/State/Region].
- 2–10 years of clinical experience in neurology, with at least 2 years in interventional neurology preferred.
- In-depth understanding of neuroanatomy, cerebrovascular physiology, and neurological diseases.
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting neurovascular imaging (CT, MRI, CTA, MRA, DSA).
- Strong technical skills in neuroendovascular procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information in layman's terms.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment, including emergency response situations.
