We are seeking a Residential Interior Design Specialist who can seamlessly translate architectural intent into refined, functional, and high-quality residential interiors. This role sits at the intersection of design thinking, client engagement, and on-site execution. You will be deeply involved from early design development through final handover, ensuring interiors are thoughtfully detailed, execution-ready, and aligned with both client lifestyle and architectural vision.

Core Responsibilities

Interior Design & Concept Development

Develop cohesive interior concepts for luxury residential spaces, ensuring harmony between architecture, interiors, and daily usability.

Create narrative-driven design presentations including concept notes, mood references, colour strategies, and material stories.

Evaluate multiple design directions for key spaces and guide clients toward balanced, well-justified design decisions.

Technical Drawings & Execution Documentation

Prepare detailed interior drawings using AutoCAD, including plans, wall elevations, furniture layouts, and essential joinery details.

Translate design intent into clear, build-ready documentation that minimizes ambiguity during execution.

Maintain accurate records of revisions, approvals, and final-issued drawings and schedules.

Client Engagement & Design Communication

Lead client discussions for furniture, finishes, lighting, and material selections with clarity and confidence.

Explain design rationale, cost implications, durability, and long-term maintenance considerations in a client-friendly manner.

Handle interactions with premium residential clients with discretion, empathy, and professionalism.

Vendor & Material Management

Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and consultants to source materials, samples, and technical information.

Track quotations, lead times,



and availability to ensure selections align with project timelines.

Maintain an organized, updated material and finishes library for ongoing and future projects.

Cross-Team & Site Coordination

Communicate finalized interior decisions clearly to site teams and project coordinators.

Respond to site queries through sketches, mark-ups, and written clarifications to ensure smooth execution.

Anticipate design conflicts or constructability issues and work closely with senior design leadership to resolve them proactively.

Required Skills & Capabilities

Strong command of AutoCAD for residential interior layouts, elevations, and detailing.

Ability to create structured, visually clear client presentations using PowerPoint, Keynote, or similar tools.

Basic proficiency in image editing for mood boards, references, and visual storytelling.

Solid understanding of spatial planning, proportion, colour theory, materials, and finishes in high-end residential interiors.

Professional Attributes & Working Style

Deep interest in residential living patterns, user behavior, and functional design—not just surface aesthetics.

Clear and courteous verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.

Polished professional presence suitable for frequent client-facing interactions.

Comfort working in a fast-paced, feedback-oriented design environment alongside senior architects.

Strong ownership mindset with high attention to detail, follow-through, and accountability.

Experience & Education

1–5 years of professional experience in an architecture or interior design studio.

Proven exposure to premium or luxury residential interior projects (academic-only experience will not suffice).

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a recognized institution.
