We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced IB PYP Physical Education Teacher to work with Primary Years students. The ideal candidate will bring robust expertise in Football and/or Athletics, adopt a child-centric and inquiry-based approach, and actively promote physical fitness, teamwork, and overall well-being in alignment with the IB PYP philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Physical Education lessons aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
- Conduct structured coaching and skill-development sessions in Football and Athletics.
- Encourage physical fitness, motor skill development, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among young learners.
- Ensure student safety and well-being during all physical and outdoor activities.
- Observe, assess, and document student progress; provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Organize and support sports days, inter-house competitions, and co-curricular physical activities.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and school leadership to support holistic student development.
- Maintain sports equipment and ensure adherence to safety and school guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed & M.P.Ed).
- Specialization in Football and/or Athletics.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience with Primary Years students (IB PYP experience preferred).
Work Schedule
- Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 6:45 AM – 3:00 PM
- Wednesday & Friday: 6:45 AM – 5:00 PM
