Responsibilities:
End-to-End Payroll Management:
- Execute India Payroll processing with 100% accuracy and timeliness for all employees.
- Validate salary inputs, deductions, reimbursements, and statutory components before finalization.
- Ensure seamless integration between payroll systems and HRIS for error-free data flow.
Statutory Compliance & Governance:
- Monitor and implement compliance with PF, ESI, Gratuity, Professional Tax, Shops & Establishment Act, and other labour laws.
- Liaise with vendors, auditors and government authorities during inspections and audits.
HRIS & Data Management:
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS platforms ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Drive automation and process optimization within HR systems for better efficiency.
- Generate dashboards and reports for leadership using Power BI and advanced analytics tools.
- Generate HR dashboards: headcount, joining–exit trends manpower availability, and attrition.
- Ensure data accuracy and audit readiness and for internal quality audits.
Employee Lifecycle Operations:
- Manage onboarding processes including documentation, Background verification, and induction coordination for Payroll.
- Handle offboarding activities such as exit formalities, clearance, and final settlement.
- Ensure smooth execution of transfers, promotions, and other lifecycle changes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Finance for payroll reconciliation and budgeting.
- Coordinate with IT for system enhancements and troubleshooting HRIS issues.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners to support organizational initiatives.
Person Specification:
- Robust knowledge of India Payroll and Statutory Compliances.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS tools and employee data management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work & collaborate independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Discipline in managing data, timelines, and compliance.
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–9 years of experience in HR operations with a focus on payroll and compliance
- Added advantage if worked if have experience in UK payroll / HR operations
