Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly
skilled Hand Soldering Operator with current IPC -7711/7721
certification and demonstrated experience in the rework, repair, and
modification of industrial and aerospace electronic assemblies. The ideal
candidate will possess exceptional hand -soldering proficiency, solid attention
to detail, and the ability to work within the stringent quality and
documentation standards required in aerospace, defense, and other
high -reliability sectors.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Perform
precision hand soldering, rework, and repair on electronic
assemblies, PCBs, and components to IPC -7711/7721, IPC -A -610, and company
quality standards.
- Diagnose
and correct soldering defects such as solder bridges, insufficient solder,
lifted pads, and damaged traces.
- Rework
through -hole, SMT, fine -pitch, and high -density components using proper
tools, temperature controls, and techniques.
- Read and
interpret engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and
rework documents.
- Use
microscopes, soldering stations, hot -air tools, and precision hand tools
for detailed rework tasks.
- Perform conformal
coating touch -up and removal as required.
- Complete required quality documentation, including repair logs, non -conformance
reports, and traceability records.
- Follow
all ESD, FOD, safety, and aerospace quality procedures.
- Support
continuous improvement efforts and collaborate with engineering or QA
teams to resolve technical issues.
