We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fusion HCM Technical Consultant to join our team and lead the development and integration of Oracle Fusion HCM applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion HCM) and hands-on experience with Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle SaaS applications. This role will involve working closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver high-quality HCM solutions aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Oracle Fusion HCM framework.
- Design, develop, and maintain custom extensions using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) for Fusion HCM applications.
- Build and manage integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to connect Fusion HCM with other SaaS or on-premise systems.
- Develop and maintain fast formulas, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher Reports, HDL (HCM Data Loader), and other HCM-specific technical components.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity during migrations and integrations involving HCM SaaS systems.
- Provide technical support during system upgrades, patching, and deployments.
- Conduct unit testing, assist with system testing, and provide post-implementation support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to integrations, security roles, and extensions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Document technical specifications, user guides, and standard operating procedures for future reference and audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience working as a technical consultant on Oracle Fusion HCM implementations or support projects.
- Proven expertise in Oracle HCM Technical components such as HCM Extracts, BI Reports, Fast Formulas, HDL, and REST/SOAP Web Services.
- Proficient in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for building and managing integrations.
- Strong working knowledge of VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service) for developing front-end custom applications/extensions for Oracle SaaS.
- Experience working with Oracle SaaS (preferably HCM) environments and understanding of their upgrade cycles and limitations.
- Familiarity with Oracle security models including role-based access controls and data roles within Fusion HCM.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Solid communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to manage tasks independently while working in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud Certification(s) preferred.
- Prior experience in multi-country HCM implementations or support engagements.
- Understanding of Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
