As an Embedded Firmware Engineer at 10xConstruction.ai, you will play a vital role in bringing our AI-powered construction robots to life. Your contributions will directly impact firmware design, system integration, and control precision, ensuring our robots excel in demanding construction environments. Collaborating closely with our hardware and software teams, you’ll drive rapid prototyping, enhance system reliability, and optimize robotic performance using cutting-edge technologies like ROS2.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine firmware for mobile manipulator robots, focusing on robustness and precision.
- Integrate key robotic components, including collaborative robotic arms (cobots), sensors, motors, actuators, and power tools using uROS framework
- Test and debug firmware, systematically resolving hardware-software interface issues.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to build hardware abstraction APIs.
- Contribute to comprehensive technical documentation to support development and operational phases.
- Develop and maintain ROS2 drivers for seamless robotic system integration.
- Partner with the mechanical team to adapt commercial power tools effectively for robotic operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Robotics, or related fields.
- Minimum 2 year of relevant firmware development experience, particularly in robotics or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, RS485/232.
- Solid understanding of control theory, embedded systems, and robotics.
- Proficient in hardware testing, debugging techniques, and problem-solving.
- Strong analytical and collaborative skills, capable of thriving in rapid-paced environments.

Compensation:
Cash: 10-20L (Including ESOPs)
