We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead and oversee operations at a mattress manufacturing facility based in Hyderabad. The role requires complete ownership of plant performance, ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, workforce management, and P&L; accountability.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end factory operations including production, maintenance, quality control, and dispatch.
- Develop and execute production plans to meet delivery timelines while optimizing cost and efficiency.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices to enhance productivity and reduce operational waste.
- Ensure full compliance with safety standards, statutory guidelines, and industry regulations.
- Lead and mentor factory teams, fostering a high-performance and safety-focused culture.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain uninterrupted raw material availability.
- Maintain and improve product quality in line with defined standards and customer expectations.
- Prepare, monitor, and control factory budgets,



production KPIs, and cost metrics.
- Drive automation, continuous improvement initiatives, and adoption of best-in-class manufacturing practices.
- Take full responsibility for the factory’s P&L;, ensuring alignment with business and financial targets.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 7–12 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in mattresses, foam products, furniture, or consumer goods.
- Prior experience managing medium to large-scale production facilities.
- Strong leadership skills and experience handling a large workforce.
- Solid understanding of lean processes, Kaizen, and quality management systems.
- Proven track record in factory-level P&L; ownership.
- Analytical, hands-on, problem-solving mindset with strong decision-making ability.
