GEL Engineer also will be involved in implementing global GEL initiatives on site and lead some of the lab initiatives to global base that will involve equipment, engineering, and lab management support.nnResponsibilities and Tasks:nnLead a team of technicians to plan and implement preventive maintenance and calibration of GEL lab equipment.nnKnowledge about ISO/IEC 17025 std for calibration (Mechanical, Electrical, Thermal etcu2026)nnInstall, maintain, and calibrate laboratory and manufacturing equipmentnnExperience in tools which are getting used in semiconductor labs like Temperature chamber, Hast chamber, Soak chamber, Tester, Reflow oven, Temp cycle, THB, bend tester, CSAM, Shock tester, X-section, FTIR, SEM, 3D X-ray, FIB etc.. nnPerform equipment troubleshooting and work closely with equipment vendor to resolve equipment issues. Maintain and troubleshoot test equipment and systems to support production processes.nnIdentify and resolve recurring equipment downtime issues; implement corrective and preventive actions.nnInstall operating systems (Windows/Linux) for lab equipment, servers, and desktopsnnMaintain accurate records of maintenance, calibration, and repairs.



Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.nnAssist lab and production staff with equipment setup and operational training. Support audits and inspections by providing equipment documentationnnCollaborate with vendor and Facilities/IE team on new equipment setup, modification, and upgrades etc.nnEnsure proper record keeping and documentation of equipment information in Equipment Tracking System.nnKnowledge about ESD u0026 Clean roomnnRequirements:nnMinimum 1-2 Years of experience with Bachelors, Masters in filed of Electronics, Electronics u0026 communication, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer science holders with Engineering studies.nnAt least one year or equivalent experience in engineering semiconductor Lab maintainnnMeticulous and attention to details, perseverance, and passion, strive to ensure maximum test cases coverage.nnClear headed, results oriented, systematic, and methodical approach in solving problemsnnSelf-motivated, possess initiative and ability to work independentlynnStandout colleague with good communication skills and fluent to communicate in English (written and verbal).nnKnowledge about the lean six sigma for laboratory, Kaizen, Lean etcu2026nnFlexible in working time, shifts and travel 0-20%nnJob Profile(s):nnEquipment Engineer 1nnRelocation level:
