This role is responsible for leading the Embedded Controls team for Utility Controls product portfolio of Power Reliability Division. Utility controls include portfolio of products for voltage regulator control, overhead recloser control and capacitor bank control for North American market. This role is primarily responsible for leading the embedded firmware and hardware team and drive the end to end product development. "In this role, you will work with global engineering and product leadership teams to define and shape the strategy for recent controls product development and drive on time, cost and quality execution of various NPI programs in the group. You will be responsible for end to end talent management, establishing a progressive work culture, and drive continuous capability development through upskilling, reskilling and hiring great talent. You will provide functional leadership for embedded firmware and hardware team through detailed design and code reviews, drive rigor around software development lifecycle, agile program execution, accelerate adoption of model based development and DevOps. Trains, develops and motivates team to achieve their performance goals and review their accomplishments and conducts performance reviews. B.E. / M.Tech. Electronics, Computer Science, IT "14+ years of overall experience including 4+ years of experience as Manager and 10 years of hands-on expertise in embedded product development. Prior experience in architecting, designing, and developing a wide array of embedded applications on bare-metal, Linux,



or multiple RTOS platforms. Strong understanding of cybersecurity requirements with the ability to drive security requirements and design for embedded applications. Expertise in multiple communication protocols (e.g., CAN, TCP/IP, Profinet, EIP). Experience in SCADA, DNP3, IEC 61850 is an added advantage. Demonstrated expertise in driving design and development practices like MBD and DevSecOps. Excellent grasp of software design principles, algorithms, object-oriented design, and use of design patterns and interfaces protocols Ability to understand technology trends and competitive landscapes. Deep knowledge of the industry, strategic suppliers, and partnerships. Proven people leadership, with experience in leading large teams. Drive solutions cost management and define quality and customer KPIs. Embedded RTOS, Linux, C, C++, Firmware and Hardware Architecture, Agile Scrum Methodology, DevSecOps "Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks while adapting swiftly to changing priorities. Ability to work in highly matrixed organization and thrive in globally distributed team environments. Must have strong drive for results and set high bar for self and others. Must demonstrate energizing leadership style that influences and drives change. Expertise in mentoring and coaching skills to nurture team growth and development Strong innovation leadership with the ability to influence across organizational levels."
