We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the development of an end-to-end Video Telematics and Cloud Analytics platform for aftermarket solutions. This role requires a hands-on technical leader with expertise across embedded systems, AI/ML, computer vision, cloud infrastructure, and large-scale data analytics. You will drive execution across multidisciplinary teams, owning everything from edge-based video intelligence to cloud-powered insights and dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
Platform & Architecture Leadership
- Lead the design and delivery of the complete video telematics ecosystem, spanning edge AI, video processing, cloud services, analytics, and alerting systems.
- Architect and oversee scalable, secure cloud infrastructure for video ingestion, streaming, storage, OTA updates, analytics, and monitoring.
- Define and evolve data pipeline architectures for collecting, processing, storing, and visualizing video, sensor, and telematics data.
Cross-Functional Engineering Management
- Lead and coordinate multiple engineering teams, including:
- Backend & Cloud teams responsible for APIs, infrastructure, dashboards, and system scalability.
- AI/ML and Computer Vision teams deploying DMS/ADAS models and real-time inference pipelines.
- Embedded & Hardware teams handling firmware integration, camera tuning, and SoC optimization.
- - Partner closely with product and business stakeholders to define roadmaps, priorities, and delivery timelines.
Data & Analytics
- Collaborate with data science teams to transform video and sensor data into actionable insights.
- Drive real-time analytics,
fleet safety scoring, alerts, and predictive intelligence using telematics data.
Operational Excellence
- Own overall product quality, reliability, and performance across edge and cloud components.
- Support production rollouts, system monitoring, incident management, and continuous updates.
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, AIS-140, GSR).
Required Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software or product engineering, with at least 2+ years in an engineering leadership or management role.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, video pipelines, edge computing, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, serverless computing, and RESTful API design.
- Solid understanding of AI/ML and computer vision workflows, including model lifecycle, optimization, and deployment.
- Experience working with data pipelines, SQL/NoSQL databases, and analytics/monitoring tools such as Redshift, Snowflake, Grafana, or Superset.
Good-to-Have
- Experience building automotive, fleet, or aftermarket video telematics solutions.
- Knowledge of camera hardware, ISP tuning, video codecs (H.264/H.265), and event-based video recording.
- Familiarity with telematics protocols (CAN, MQTT) and geospatial analytics.
- Working knowledge of global data privacy and compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA).
