Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Software Architect / Senior Software Engineer to join our embedded software development team in Coimbatore. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the architecture and design of complex embedded systems, working on challenging projects that impact various industries.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Architecture and Design:

- Define and document software architectures for embedded systems, considering performance, safety, security, and maintainability.

- Create high-level and detailed software designs.

- Select appropriate technologies and frameworks.

- Ensure alignment with overall system architecture and project requirements.

- Development and Implementation:

- Develop high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code.

- Implement and integrate software modules.

- Follow coding standards and best practices.

- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.

- Technical Leadership:





- Guide and mentor junior software engineers.

- Provide technical expertise and support to the team.

- Contribute to technical discussions and decision-making.

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies.

- Collaboration and Communication:

- Collaborate effectively with other engineering teams (hardware, testing, etc.).

- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.

- Participate in project planning and status meetings.

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Experience :

12+ years of experience in embedded software development for Automotive, Consumer Electronics or MedTech.

Mandatory/requires Skills :

Robust understanding of embedded systems architectures and design principles.

- Expertise in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.

- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).

- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., CAN, SPI, I2C).

- Experience with software design patterns and architectural principles.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with automotive software development processes (e.g., ASPICE).

- Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508).

- Experience with model-based design and development.

- Knowledge of specific microcontroller architectures.
