We are seeking a seasoned Director – Clinical (IT Delivery Manager) with deep expertise in the US Healthcare Payer domain, specifically within clinical IT delivery. This leader will be responsible for driving delivery excellence across critical programs such as Utilization Management, Care Management, and Appeals & Grievances, while ensuring strategic alignment with business goals and client expectations. The role requires strong leadership, governance, and a thorough understanding of healthcare payer clinical systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end IT delivery for clinical programs within the payer domain.
- Oversee the execution of large-scale initiatives in Utilization Management, Care Management, and Appeals & Grievances.
- Drive delivery governance, demand planning, and capacity management to optimize outcomes.
- Establish best practices, frameworks, and KPIs to achieve delivery excellence.
- Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and clients to align delivery with strategic objectives.
- Mentor and manage senior managers, project managers,



and delivery teams to build high-performing organizations.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory standards, data security, and quality benchmarks.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on value creation and business impact.

Required Skills & Experience

- 18+ years of overall IT experience with a strong foundation in delivery management.
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in the US Healthcare Payer domain.
- Proven expertise in clinical IT delivery across Utilization Management, Care Management, and Appeals & Grievances.
- Demonstrated success in managing large distributed teams across onshore/offshore models.
- Robust knowledge of payer systems, clinical workflows, and healthcare compliance standards.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Track record of successfully driving large programs and portfolios.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with IT services or healthcare payer organizations.
- Exposure to digital transformation initiatives in healthcare IT.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, SAFe, or equivalent.
