- Prepare dialysis machines and equipment before each session.
- Perform hemodialysis treatment as per physician’s prescription.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs before, during, and after dialysis.
- Ensure proper vascular access care (AV fistula, graft, catheter).
- Maintain strict infection control and safety protocols.
- Respond to dialysis -related emergencies and complications.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dialysis equipment after use.
- Check water treatment systems and ensure quality standards.
- Coordinate with nephrologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
- Educate patients about dialysis procedures and care guidelines.
- Maintain inventory of dialysis supplies and consumables.
- Report machine malfunctions or patient complications immediately.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and biomedical waste management rules.
Requirements
- Experience in handling hemodialysis machines preferred.
- Knowledge of dialysis procedures and renal care principles.
- Ability to monitor and record patient vital signs accurately.
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Understanding of water treatment systems used in dialysis units.
- Ability to recognize and manage dialysis -related complications.
- Positive communication and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
- Basic computer knowledge for documentation and reporting.
