We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Destination Expert to join our travel planning team. This role is ideal for someone who loves travel geography, understands destination logistics, and enjoys crafting exceptional travel experiences. As a Destination Expert, you will play a key role in designing unique itineraries, providing destination knowledge, and supporting the sales team with insights that help deliver memorable journeys for travelers.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in itinerary planning or destination management and possesses strong knowledge of travel circuits, local experiences, and logistical planning. If you enjoy researching destinations, creating well-structured travel plans, and sharing your expertise with others, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape unforgettable travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and Curate Travel Itineraries:
Create unique, well-structured, and high-quality travel itineraries tailored to different travel circuits, traveler preferences, and seasonal opportunities. Ensure each itinerary offers a balanced combination of experiences, comfort, and logistics.
- Act as a Destination Subject Matter Expert:
Serve as the go-to expert for assigned destinations (domestic or international). Maintain deep knowledge of attractions, accommodations, transportation routes, cultural experiences, and regional highlights.
- Support the Sales Team:
Work closely with the sales and operations teams to provide destination-specific guidance,



helping them communicate itinerary value and logistics clearly to customers. Provide recommendations that enhance travel packages and improve conversion rates.
- Stay Updated on Travel Developments:
Continuously monitor changes in travel regulations, visa requirements, safety advisories, seasonal trends, and new attractions. Ensure all itineraries and recommendations reflect the latest information.
- Optimize Travel Logistics:
Ensure itineraries are practical and productive by considering travel distances, transit options, local connectivity, and traveler comfort. Provide clear explanations of complex travel logistics in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Research and Innovate:
Explore emerging destinations, unique experiences, and new travel routes to keep offerings fresh and competitive in the market.

Required Qualifications

- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in destination management, travel planning, or itinerary design.
- Education: Graduate degree required; MBA or specialization in Travel & Tourism preferred.
- Travel Knowledge: Strong understanding of domestic and/or international travel circuits, destinations, and logistics.
- Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex travel plans, routes, and logistical details clearly and effectively.
- Research Skills: Strong ability to research destinations, analyze travel trends, and develop engaging itineraries.
