Must Have Skills :
1. Solid knowledge of medical coding standards (ICD -10 -CM, CPT, HCPCS)
2. Experience in analyzing and resolving claim denials
3. Understanding of payer -specific guidelines and reimbursement policies
4. Ability to identify coding errors, documentation gaps, and compliance issues
5. Knowledge of EOBs, AR follow -ups, and denial reason codesGood Have Skills :
1. CPC / CCS / CCA certification
2. Knowledge of medical billing and revenue cycle management (RCM)
3. Experience with appeals and resubmission processes
4. Familiarity with EMR/EHR and billing systemsRoles and Responsibilities :
1. Review and analyze denied medical claims to identify root causes
2. Correct coding errors and documentation discrepancies leading to denials
3.



Apply accurate ICD -10, CPT, and HCPCS codes in compliance with guidelines
4. Work closely with billing, AR, and clinical documentation teams to resolve denials
5. Prepare and support appeals by providing correct coding and documentation
6. Ensure compliance with payer policies and regulatory standards
7. Track denial trends and provide insights for process improvement
8. Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks as defined by the organizationLocation :
