About the Role:
We are currently hiring a Consultant Anesthetist for a well-established, reputed multi-specialty hospital in Bhavnagar. Key Responsibilities:

- Clinical Anesthesia Care:
- Administer anesthesia during surgeries and other medical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Monitor vital signs before, during, and after anesthesia administration, making adjustments as necessary.
- Develop and implement appropriate anesthesia plans tailored to the patient’s medical condition and type of surgery.

- Patient Care & Consultation:

- Evaluate patients pre-operatively, assessing risk and advising on anesthesia options and associated procedures.
- Provide postoperative pain management and monitor patient recovery from anesthesia.
- Communicate with patients and their families regarding the anesthesia process, expected outcomes, and post-anesthesia care instructions.

- Team Collaboration:

- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians,



and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive perioperative care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and planning of high-risk or complex surgical interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures, medications administered, and patient responses.

- Training & Supervision:

- Guide and mentor junior residents, fellows, and interns in anesthesia techniques, monitoring equipment usage, and patient care protocols.
- Supervise anesthesia residents during surgeries, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

- Professional Development & Research:

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in anesthesiology, including technologies, medications, and protocols.
- Contribute to academic activities and clinical research initiatives within the department.
- Attend and participate in CME sessions, medical conferences, and workshops relevant to anesthesia.

Candidate Profile:

- Education: MD or DNB in Anesthesia from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Open to freshers and experienced professionals (0–3 years).
- Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques, pain management protocols, and patient monitoring systems.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with surgical teams and patients.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
