Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and exceptionally skilled Turnkey 5.0 Carpenter to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This role requires a master craftsman with extensive knowledge and practical experience in all facets of carpentry, particularly in executing comprehensive turnkey projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will be a meticulous and detail-oriented individual capable of delivering high-quality workmanship across diverse carpentry needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Execution: Lead and execute all carpentry aspects of turnkey interior and exterior projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

- Fabrication & Installation: Expertly measure, cut, shape, and install wooden structures, fixtures, and furniture, including but not limited to:
- Modular kitchens and wardrobes

- Doors, windows, and frames

- Custom cabinetry and shelving

- Flooring and panelling

- False ceilings and decorative elements

- Furniture assembly and repair (beds, sofas, tables, etc.)

- Material Expertise: Demonstrate profound knowledge of various wood types, laminates, veneers, hardware, and other carpentry materials, recommending and utilising the best suited for each project.

- Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design plans to translate concepts into exact physical structures.

- Tool Proficiency: Operate a wide range of hand and power tools safely and efficiently, maintaining them in excellent working condition.

- Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks on all work to ensure structural integrity, aesthetic appeal, and flawless finishes.

- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve carpentry-related issues, adapting to on-site challenges with practical and innovative solutions.





- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with interior designers, architects, other tradesmen, and clients to ensure seamless project flow and client satisfaction.

- Site Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

- Mentorship (Optional, but valued): Given the extensive experience, guide and mentor junior carpenters, sharing expertise and best practices.

Requirements

- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of verifiable experience as a Carpenter, with a significant portion dedicated to turnkey projects.

- Technical Skills:

- Exceptional proficiency in traditional and modern carpentry techniques.

- Demonstrated expertise in modular furniture fabrication and installation.

- Strong understanding of joinery, finishing, and wood preservation methods.

- Ability to work with precision and a keen eye for detail.

- Education: While formal education is a plus, extensive practical experience and proven craftsmanship are paramount.

- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, and working in various positions for extended periods.

- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address unexpected issues and find effective solutions.

- Communication: Good communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.

- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and committed to meeting project deadlines.

- Tools: Must possess a comprehensive set of personal carpentry tools.

- Location: Residing in or willing to relocate to Bangalore.
