Business Development Engineer – Roles & Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across target industries and geographic regions
- Drive new business development initiatives by introducing solutions for existing applications and identifying new use cases for offered products
- Understand customer technical requirements and propose customized commercial and engineering solutions
- Work closely with design, production, and R&D; teams to develop new applications, processes, and product improvements
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend studies to support strategic business decisions
- Provide technical support during client meetings, site visits, product demonstrations, and trials
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships,



ensuring consistent follow-ups to close projects successfully
- Achieve assigned sales, revenue, and growth targets

Qualifications & Skill Set

- Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Production Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or marketing of industrial products such as valves, pumps, piping, compressors, or related equipment
- Strong understanding of industrial processes and product applications
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Willingness to travel frequently for business development activities
