Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. 3+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field OR master's degree in Signal Processing, Electronics Communications or related field 15+ Years work experience in Audio DSP firmware/algorithm development, embedded software and/or audio driver development. Candidate should be detail-oriented and have strong analytical and debugging skills, robust communication skills (written and verbal), working with teams across multiple time zones. Experience in Audio/Video pre- and post-processing algorithms for subjective quality enhancement - such as: EC/NS, ANC, MBDRC, limiter, AGC, SRC, speech recognition, noise cancellation, natural language recognition, multi-mic,
multi-speaker algorithms, etc.; motion compensation & estimation, deinterlacing is a plus. Good knowledge of Audio and voice encoder formats - MP3, AAC, WMA, AC3, Dolby Digital, DTS, FLAC, AMR, EVRC, QCELP, etc. Experience in audio/video processing pipeline implementation for media applications (playback, capture, transcoding, streaming, voice call, analog audio codecs/ADIE, software defined radio, satellite radio, etc.). Extremely strong knowledge of C/C++ programming is mandatory. Solid working knowledge of Python, MATLAB, fixed point arithmetic is an added plus. Thorough understanding of Audio Frameworks, Audio HAL, ALSA and DSP drivers. Exposure to assembly language and low-level software/hardware interface design, debugging is a plus. Fluent in industry standard software development tools: debuggers, code revision control systems (GIT, Perforce), IDEs and build tools. Proven technical leadership responsibilities in leading system solutions with focus on Audio DSP. Experience in wireless protocols is an added plus. Experience in ML based audio processing like Noise reduction, key-work detection, context awareness etc. is an added advantage.
