Role Summary

The role focuses on translating sustainability-oriented research into commercially viable technologies and industry-adopted solutions. It combines technology transfer, research partnerships, commercial strategy, and programme management to scale impact in the greening of industries domain.

Key Responsibilities

- Translate in-house and external research into impactful, industry-facing projects, particularly in building materials, cementitious materials, industrial wastes, and related areas.
- Identify and support commercial strategies for technology transfer in India and internationally, including proof-of-concept and pilot support.
- Lead negotiations on technology transfer agreements, licensing contracts, royalties, and transfer fees in coordination with legal experts.
- Coordinate patent, copyright, and trademark applications for in-house technology development.




- Ensure technology transfer initiatives strengthen and demonstrate research impact.
- Liaise with universities, research institutions, and sector organisations for cooperative research and technology development.
- Monitor research opportunities, donor trends, and sector announcements; support creation of new project and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain industry, consultant, and expert networks to enable

partnerships.
- Lead project planning, monitoring, reporting, documentation, and quality assurance.
- Manage and guide project teams to ensure high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

- Postgraduate degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Materials Science, or related disciplines.
