- Planning of shipments in coordination with Customer Service and factory.
- Effective monitoring, Control and preparation of Pre & Post documentation to ensure error free and timely preparation of documents.
- Proper Handling of exports including receipt, proper reading, checking for compliance, arranging amendments, etc.
- Ensuring on real time basis all Exports benefits are properly claimed and all documents prepared accordingly.
- Monitoring the timely receipts and preparation of statutory documents.
- To ensure no unjustifiable demurrage charges are incurred on export cargo.
- Coordinating the Export & Import job to ensure proper Export advantages are availed – Very Important, as it has revenue implications.
- Planning of clearance of LCL, FCL, etc in coordination with Purchase.
- Planning and organizing timely availability of imported goods.
- To ensure no unjustifiable demurrage charges are incurred on import clearance.
- Ensure that vendors understand and accept customer guidelines and requirements for all logistics operations, including service and deliveries.
- Root cause analysis and problem resolution for all logistics operation/complaints
- Drive customs regulations in the process to avoid any delay in customer delivery. Interact with customer to formalize the smooth functioning of the system
- Coordination with various external agencies including but not limited to CHA, Shipping Lines, Forwarders, Statutory Authorities such as Customs, Excise, Banks, etc.
- Identify opportunities or improvement and streamline the process and constantly look for opportunities to reduce cost and time in operations.
- Any other job as entrusted by the Management from time to time.
- Any other business requirement directed by the managers.
