Summary:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to inspire young minds through visual expression and hands -on learning. The ideal candidate will foster a dynamic, inclusive, and joyful classroom environment where children explore their imagination, develop artistic skills, and build confidence. This role is essential in nurturing creativity, fine motor development, and self -expression in early learners, laying a solid foundation for lifelong appreciation of the arts.
Responsibilities:
- Encourage creativity, originality, and individual expression in every student.
- Design and implement structured yet flexible lesson plans aligned with developmental milestones.
- Prepare teaching materials and art supplies in advance to ensure smooth class execution.
- Supervise students during art activities with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and respect for materials.
- Provide constructive feedback and celebrate student progress through displays and informal assessments.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom culture.
- Collaborate with the academic team to integrate art into broader learning goals.
- Participate in school events, exhibitions, and workshops as needed.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
- Certification or training in art education or child -centered art methodologies.
- 1–5 years of experience teaching art to children, preferably in preschool or primary levels.
- Strong foundational knowledge of color theory, drawing, painting, and craft techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children, parents, and staff.
- Organized, punctual, and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and inspiring learning space.
- Ability to adapt lessons to diverse learning styles and developmental stages.
