Job Description:
The ARC Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting BP Business Sol (HC) by demonstrating data and analytical skills to drive commercial excellence and optimize financial performance. This position requires a strong blend of analytical prowess, eye for business, and effective communication to translate insights into actionable strategies.
Shift Timings - 9am to 6pm
Responsibilities:
- Audit - Coordination and providing data required by auditors
- Tax Audit assistance and preparation of schedules.
- Payroll Processing, reconciliations & accounting. Tracking of employee loans and payable balances
- Physical Verification of assets- India Statutory requirement
- Tracking Internal Finance Controls including BSA, DOA
- Prepaid Accounting. Open PO accruals for both Ariba and Fieldglass
- Recalls of incorrect posting. Opex and Capex. Incorrect cost centre
- Bank Reconciliation
- Lease Accounting- Nakisa Set up and supervise monthly interface of entries.
- Fixed Asset accounting -SAP PRE, Managing the creation of WBS and actuals vs the budget
- CWIP Reconciliations and Investigations
- Preparation of Open Vendor listing and tracking ageing
- Coordination with the Invoice processing team -Intercompany AP Invoice booking and payments
- Budget tracking and coordination with PPM
- Coordination with teams, master data team for vendor creation, GL extension, cost centre creation
- Tracking AP/AR ageing, reconciliations and issue resolution. GRIR tracking
- Collection of Tax certificates and disbursement of tax certificates, assistance in balance confirmation.
- MSME certification confirmation and ensure the payments terms to be less than 45 days.
- Recording and maintaining Nakisa Accounting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
- Proven experience in an analytical role, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of agility core practices and their application in a business workplace.
- Proven ability to apply Commercial Competence to real-world business challenges.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in data visualization and interpretation tools and techniques.
- Experience with Digital Automation concepts and tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with Financial Reporting principles and practices.
- Strong Influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Exposure to Project and programme management methodologies.
- Basic understanding of Risk Management principles.
- Accounting review and reconciliation of accounts and transaction through Blackline
- Lead and ensure delivery of financial reporting processes (quarterly/monthly close) and maintain compliance with requirements outlined in the Group * Reporting Manual including delegation of authority, analytical review, accounting matters whilst driving process efficiency
Required Criteria:
English language proficiency.
Preferred Criteria:
- Shared service centre experience.
- SAP, JDE system experience
Treasury Activities- Posting of the entries
A) Cashflow Management & Working Capital
B) Bank reconciliation posting and maintaining the C&P; bank account
C) RBI & FEMA compliances- Trade Go process- Application of the receipts against the Invoices filled with Government authorities. RBI portal interfaces the invoice details to SCB portal and basis which ARC member has to match the receipt against the invoice.
Tax and compliance- Schedule preparation and coordination with Tax teams
A) Assist with details required for Income Tax working.
B) Withholding Taxes for all vendor payments as per the Income Tax act rules. Checking right application of the tax rates.
C)
Assistance to provide the requested data for GST returns.
D) Provide details for Transfer Pricing audit requirements.
E) Manual working of the GST credit for Concur expenses
F) Calculation of interest incase of wrong TDS and payment of penalty
G) Review of all payments, challan copies and accounting for the same.
H) Meeting all statutory request for data
