The AI Lead Engineer will play a critical role in designing, building, and scaling advanced machine learning solutions within a highly collaborative and agile environment. This role is suited for experienced professionals with a strong background in product companies or startups who enjoy solving complex, real-time technical challenges and leading ML initiatives end to end.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for large-scale, real-time systems, particularly in media, ad tech, or programmatic advertising domains.
- Lead end-to-end ML workflows including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Build and operationalize ML pipelines using AWS SageMaker, SageMaker Pipelines, and related AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Develop models for auction dynamics, real-time bidding (RTB), supply path optimization (SPO), bid landscape modeling, and pricing optimization.
- Drive audience modeling, identity resolution, targeting, and predictive analytics initiatives.
- Monitor model performance in production, perform retraining, and continuously improve model accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with data engineering, product, and platform teams to align ML solutions with business and product goals.




- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior ML and data science team members.

Required Qualifications

- 10+ years of overall professional experience, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning model development and deployment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Solid programming expertise in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, or LightGBM.
- Deep understanding of auction theory, RTB ecosystems, supply path optimization, and bid modeling techniques.
- Proven experience in audience modeling, identity graphs, targeting systems, and predictive analytics.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and large-scale data processing systems, preferably on AWS.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with reinforcement learning, Bayesian optimization, or economic and pricing models.
- Knowledge of computer vision (CV) or natural language processing (NLP) for media classification or content tagging.
- Exposure to privacy-preserving ML techniques, clean rooms, or federated learning.
- Familiarity with MLOps platforms such as MLflow, Weights & Biases, or Kubeflow.
