We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Adult Psychiatric Clinician to provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing clinical support to adult patients with psychiatric disorders. The clinician will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients mental health and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations of adult patients.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, including therapy and medication management recommendations.
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, or other modalities appropriate for adult psychiatric patients.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet clinical goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Facilitate patient education on mental health, medication adherence, and coping strategies.
- Participate in crisis intervention and risk assessment as needed.
- Attend team meetings, case conferences, and career development sessions.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and patient rights in all clinical activities.
Key Requirements:
- Masters degree or higher in Social Work (MSW), Psychology, Counseling, Nursing (Psychiatric Mental Health), or a related clinical field.
- Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMHC, RN, or equivalent in the state of practice.
- Minimum 2+ years clinical experience in adult mental health or psychiatric settings preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Experience providing individual and group therapy to adults with a range of psychiatric disorders.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and ability to collaborate effectively with prescribing providers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain detailed clinical records.
