Candidate Qualifications/Requirements for the role:





We are looking for an energetic Technical Lead Engineer with a passion to excel and work for ECC Flight Avionics solutions. As a member of our ECC Flight Avionics team, you will have the chance to make significant contributions to our Navigation Database solutions.

- Should have at least 5+ years of overall engineering experiences in the software development, systems architecture and testing of Avionics embedded system.
- Domain expertise in Aerospace Navigation systems is highly preferred.
- Specialized knowledge in ARINC 424, Navigation Databases.
- Very good knowledge and working experience of C++
- Knowledge on other databases like Airport Databases, Obstacle Databases, and Terrain Databases is a plus.
- Prior experience in Navigation Database development and management of Aeronautical databases.
- Experience working with Airbus customers is a plus.
- Knowledge on Aeronautical standards DO178B/C and DO-200
- Knowledge and working experience of Flight Management System.
- Experience of digital technologies
- Travel domestically and internationally, as required
- Candidate should have good understanding of recent aviation digital solutions, navigation solutions, EFB applications, Flight Planning and dispatch solutions
- Understanding of the various testing methodologies

Roles and Responsibilities:

You will be a Technical Leader playing a major role in the preparation and generation of the Navigation Databases to enable efficient and accurate Navigation services for FMS and other navigation systems, and will be involved in the various phases of Navigation Database generation:

- Engineer who can define,



envision and drive a high performing team to generate Navigation Database.
- Own the workflow and drive the improvements of Navigation database sourcing, packing and production process.
- Highly skilled engineer with solid technical leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills to drive a high performing team.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking to define a strong roadmap for the project
- Aggregate, conceptualize, propose innovative solutions, develop and implement those solutions to drive the product improvement
- Excellent communication and work with various internal and external stakeholders including suppliers, customers, and regulatories.
- Coach and mentor the team in generating Navigation Databases
- Involve, engage and drive the technical discussions involving complex design or architecture
- Resolve complex problems and perform the testing of the databases.
- Apply and comply with the configuration management processes
- Contribute in the development, selection, tailoring and deployment of processes, tools and metrics.
- Responsible for the competency development of the team and nurture the talent.
- Adapt to the project dynamics and monitor the key project performanceindicators.
- Visualize the risks ahead and arrive at the mitigations actions to drive them for successful implementation
- Collaborative across various functions to arrive at innovative ideas and solutions
- Act as a positive catalyst to implementing product strategies
