You are a part of Sleep & Respiratory Care (SRC) business group within Philips Healthtech focuses on helping people with problems while they sleep or with issues related to breathing. SRC is a market leader in treating patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) a condition affecting patients that have trouble breathing while they are sleeping and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) a chronic inflammatory lung disease that causes obstructed airflow from the lungs.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience





- 6-8 years or more professional experience building Enterprise applications using Java.
- Demonstrable experience and fluency with Spring Framework (Spring-Boot preferred).
- Strong experience in creating Restful web services.
- Experience with Java testing frameworks (Junit/Mocks etc).
- Experience with any RDBMS or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with and understanding of Git
- Experience working in Scrum agile environment.
- Exceptional knowledge of object-oriented design, including design patterns.

Bonus Points

- Experience developing cloud based systems (AWS or equivalent).
- Experience with Build Management & Continuous Integration systems (TeamCity or equivalent)
- Experience with Messaging System (RabbitMQ or equivalent)
- Experience developing multi-threaded applications
- Experience in using code analysis and profiling tools.
- Experience with Test Automation using Behavioral Driven Development (BDD)
- Experience developing Angular JS applications.

Your responsibilities:

- Own and implement, deliver assigned modules along with the team
- Performs the role of a designer, developer by ensuring the consistency and efficient integration of separate modules of the software
- Manages technical communication with stakeholders
- Supports in project estimation, planning and risk management activities
- Be a coach/mentor to the developers in your team
