Job Description

Position Summary

This is an operations role in the APAC Securities Services Digital Solution team to co-ordinate and drive the Intelligent Automation agenda in the Securities Services operations teams, using but not limited to, JP Morgan Intelligent Automation digital toolkit (e.g. UiPath, Alteryx, Tableau).The team engages and collaborates with various business teams within Securities Services Operations regionally and globally to drive operations efficiency and client service excellence.

Hong Kong business hours 7:00 am IST start time

Role and Responsibility Description

Scope of role including but not limited to:

- Review and understand business requirements. Translate business requirements from stakeholders into technical approaches and workflow designs that can be implemented, utilizing one or more digital tool from Intelligent Automation toolkit.

- Understand the reusable components library and able to construct an automation solution that is scalable and reusable. Partner with regional and global teams to maximize the benefit of the scalable solution.



Undertake the solution scripting and able to bridge the communication between business stakeholders and Center of Excellence technology teams regarding any technical challenges.

Project Management:

- Serve as the project manager for automation projects, responsible for end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, and production release.

- Familiar with Firmwide Intelligent Automation governance requirements and ensure the project meets all the control and documentation requirements. Able to articulate and escalate project issues to appropriate parties in time to ensure timely completion of any project actions.

Process Review and Analysis:

- Upskill with business knowledge and perform data-driven process analysis using digital tool process mining capabilities. Present process review findings to senior business stakeholders.

- Able to ask the right question and identify root cause for process bottleneck. Collaborate with business stakeholders, identify improvement opportunities and initiate automation projects based on process review findings.

Business and Technical Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of Technology and/or Operations experience . Understanding of the Markets and Securities Services business an advantage

- Strong understanding and experience with low code tools.



Project management experience preferred

- Design thinking understanding and experience preferred . Works independently and ability to multi-task

- Data driven mindset and possesses thought leadership that can be showcased by bringing innovative solutions to stakeholders
