Job Title
Requirement Management Engineer
Purpose of the Job
For the requirement management tool – DooRs: ensure the Key User role, during the whole lifecycle of the Project/Program until validation.
By delegation of the TSE, handle specific activities linked with Requirements Management.
Organizational Reporting
- Hierarchical Reporting: (Site) Requirement Management Domain Leader
- Functional Reporting: Train System Engineer (TSE) or Train Performance Manager (TPM) of the Project
Network & Links
- Engineering: Train System team, Engineering Planning Manager, Other Métiers (Train Electrical, Train Control, Train Design, RAMS, ISR), Validation team
- Central Engineering (Train System Process Team)
- Project: Project Engineering Manager (PrEM), Chief Engineer (CE)
- Site: Indus Department, Sourcing Department
Responsibilities
Within the Project/Program:
- To execute DooRs operations like database set-up, instantiations, imports/exports, propagations, baselines… in accordance with Requirement Management Process from Central, Bangalore Engineering best practices and Project instructions.
- To be the focal point for all the users of DooRs in their day-to-day activity with the tool.
- To support stakeholders for requirements alignment and identification of Means of proof.
- To maintain the Requirement Database as per the applicable baseline.
- To ensure the traceability of all the requirements,
from their import (CTS, Platform, PHA, Standards…) till the MoP.
- To publish DooRs KPIs to the Project Manager / Core Team Leader as and when required.
- To lead modules review prior to propagations, to ensure SMART requirements are flowed down. To exert his/her alert right as and when required.
- Provide technical support in preparing Train OCD: preliminary OCD based on OV Matrix when applicable, customer open points follow-up for OCD and subsequent alignment with RS L1 and AD L1.
- Organize workshops as and when required to ensure the Quality of the database as well as the maturity as per the planning.
- Track specifically Customer requirements and treatment follow-up (RAMP, deviation…).
Within the Requirement Management Group:
- In link with TS Process Team in Central, to maintain Requirement Management up to the mark in Bangalore.
- To optimize Requirement management process (automation, best practices…)
- To animate trainings and workshops
- Support Bangalore Engineering competencies and awareness for Requirement Management.
Knowledge & Experience
- Engineering background, with 3+ year of experience, preferably in Railway Domain.
- Good Communications and interpersonal skills.
- Technical agility and curiosity.
- Proficiency with Information Technology.
- Time management and reporting skill.
