SymphonyAI is looking for a Payroll Executive based out of India to manage global payroll. This role will work closely with business partners and external service providers to ensure timely payroll.

Responsibilities

- This position will report to the new Payroll Manager of the company and ensuring compliance and accuracy in monthly Payroll activities
- The role responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of payroll.
- Overall responsibility for payroll processing and able to handle sensitive information.
- Ensuring timelines are met for salary disbursement and statutory compliance.
- Ensuring Employee Benefits including Employee reimbursements as per rules and regulations of income tax
- Responsible for MIS and Analytics regarding payroll and employee benefits with Standardization of reports for better decision making.
- Verification & Reconciliation of monthly payroll
- Preparation & Submission of Quarterly and Annual TDS returns
- Responsible of publishing monthly Payroll Dashboard
- Ensure Monthly payroll provisions to Finance.
- Check data accuracy of payroll input and output files.
- Coordinate and send payroll bank file to finance.




- Assist the payroll manager with month-end close, quarter-end and year-end payroll processes and related tax reconciliations.
- Assist the payroll manager with managing new hires, terminations and changes to payroll. Ensure that data is collected on time and changes in systems are made before the payroll process cutoff dates.
- Assist the payroll manager in timely and accurate filing of statutory payroll filings.
- Assist the payroll manager in preparing relevant management reports, metrics and statistics.
- Assist in all audits related activities ensuring full compliance with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in ad-hoc duties when required.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 5-8 years of payroll experience with demonstrated increased responsibility
- Well organized and must have the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced changing environment
- Experience in MS Excel - advanced level
- Excellent attention to details and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Willingness to be flexible with work timings to overlap with stakeholders across other countries
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
