Job description

Roles and Responsibilities of Industrial EngineerUse specialized software to create models and drawings of products.Responsible to produce the first set (Proto) or batch of products (Pilot lot) against customers first order by taking the following steps as required.Organize and maintain existing engineering records.Construct prototypes and confirm designs with design/purchasing team.Participating in the meeting with Customer / Internal Team /Top management and other functions as required establishing the manufacturing details.Studying the customer drawings and make available from/ based on the customer drawings, required Part drawings to other functions.Prepare and Responsible for Technical feasibility review.Preparing the Process Flow Chart.Perform physical testing on engineering prototypes.Preparing the Engineering BOM, Material BOM & Process BOMDetermining and arranging for the required Jigs, Fixture sand Templates.Preparing Control Plans, Time study,



Route Card.Carrying out FMEA study.Preparing Weld Maps with welding Sequences based on Product & service.Define surface Area and weight calculation.Coordinate with the production function for manufacturing of Proto samples, verifying at identified stages for conformity to requirements involving QA and customer as required FAI Pilot Lot.Dispatch of the accepted product to customer.Coordinate with customer as required.Defining Packing List, Packing standards and Procedures.Amending the documents based on the findings during Activities of manufacturing, verification, use by customerAuthorized to create and approve part code number based on Raw material, consumables, proprietary items, Bought outs, Hard wares, Assembly, Sub Assembly & loose partsEnsure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards.Basic GD and T application, Material knowledge.Good knowledge of Estimation and costing.Valuable knowledge of fabrication process, machines with its applications, surface preparation and surface finish.Knowledge of Auto CAD and Sheet metal nesting.Knowledge of CATIA V5.Sheet metal.Part Design.Detailing.Assembly.Surface Model.
