Senior Engineer - DevOps

About the job
You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. Roles and responsibilities include enterprise application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing. We are looking for a DevOps engineer to join our engineering team. If you have a passion for building top-notch, scalable products and have python programming experience, we're looking for you to join us in our Chennai Technology Hub!

Responsibilities

- Building, setting up & maintaining new development tools and infrastructure
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and 'fixes'
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Deploy updates and fixes
- Collaborate with Agile cross-functional teams
- Expertise with configuration management tools (GIT), configuration concepts, and continuous integration tools (Jenkins / Bamboo)

Qualifications





- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years of software development experience using Python programming
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Proficient with git and git workflows
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Problem-solving attitude
- Collaborative team spirit
- Experience in agile software development practices
