Education
BE, B. Tech, MCA, or any master's Level from a reputed university.
Responsibilities
. Develop and deliver detailed technology solutions based on Big Basket products and
platform through Professional Services project activities.
. Operate as a part of a project team consisting of other PS engineers and technical
program managers to achieve and exceed customer goals and expectations.
. Work closely with Solution Architect and other stakeholders to design, build and
deliver solutions and identifying migration or custom integration work.
. Design and develop integration components, migration scripts, configuration set up,
dashboards, alerts, etc., in the BigBasket platform based on customer requirements.
. Recommend and provide continuous feedback to products and solutions to improve
actions needed to ensure a great customer experience
. Work closely with Solution Architects and client teams to prepare and develop POCs
(Proof of Concepts) and present the same through technical presentations.
. Work with cross-functional team members including engineering, product, support,
and system engineers at BigBasket and teams from customer organizations to
develop, deploy and maintain BigBasket platform solutions.
. Recommend product and platform enhancements based on customer feedback and
improving operational efficiency
. Always be aware of New Features, capabilities rolled out on the BigBasket platform
and Products.

Communicate and assist in translating customer requirements to internal product and
engineering teams.
. Research and develop creative solutions to be part of the ecosystem of the
BigBasket platform to bring customer delight and revenue.
Skills and Experience
. Computer science fundamentals like Networking, Process, Memory, data structures
are mandatory
. Min 3 years of total experience in developing and deploying distributed systems in
Java, Python, Node. Golang, Java Script like programming languages
. Basic knowledge of any RDBMS system and good experience in writing Queries to
various datastores (MySQL, Aerospike, ES, S3, Redis)
. Proven experience in using tools used in software development such as git, Jira,
Jenkins, etc.
. Prior experience in any public or private cloud platform is a must
. Experience in building REST API and using the same to integrate other systems
. Large scale application concepts like scaling, log management, Monitoring, and
alerting is a must
. Exposure to SAAS systems is a plus
. Exposure to NOC operations is an advantage
. Product-based professional service experience is an added advantage
. Extensive experience of working with Linux and Windows operating systems.
. Must have experience in working with customers/clients in deploying and managing
software products
. Good Communication Skills (both written and verbal) and some degree of experience
in interfacing with product managers, support engineers and engineering team.
. Knowledge of E-commerce/Supply Chain/Logistics/Warehousing/CRM/SAP etc
would be an added advantage.
. Exposure to concepts such as Containers, Microservices, Serverless etc a big plus.
. Experience in developing Automation Scripts is a big plus.
. Experience with cybersecurity or enterprise log management products is preferred.
