Solution Architect
Education
BE, B. Tech, MCA or any master's Level from a reputed university.
Responsibilities
. Ability to understand customer's existing business landscape and their supporting
systems, environments, products, processes
. Analyse customer pain points and opportunities for improvements and document
them as requirements
. Design, architect and document scalable, reliable and secure solutions using
Bigbasket SAAS platform to meet customer business needs
. Ability to plan, implement and integrate developed solution into customer existing
landscape
. Project/Program manage the customer implementations to meet budget, timeline and
quality
. Evangelise and bring perspective of customer to Bigbasket internal teams
. Evangelise and present various business effective solutions/ Solution ideas to
customers
. Effectively present and propose technically Bigbasket platform to prospects and
manage their queries to make a positive decision
. Assist with and collect customer and partner feedback regarding their experience and
satisfaction.
. Develop and improve processes related to building, monitoring and providing




feedback loop on solutions.
. Develop POCs (Proof of Concepts), make technical presentations and demonstrate
the value of Bigbasket products in solving customer's needs/problems.
. Recommend product enhancements based on customer feedback and competitive
analysis
. Ensure a excellent customer experience from pre-sales and post-sales until transition to
support for on-going maintenance
. Coordinate with cross-functional team members including engineering, product,
support, operations and business.
. Always be aware of New Features, capabilities rolled out on Big Basket platform and
Products.
. Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance and product education to the
sales team, partners and customers.
Skills and Experience
. Minimum 7 years of total experience and 2 years in a similar role leading end to end
implementation of SaaS solutions preferably on Cloud environment.
. Proficiency in at least one of the languages used for coding/scripting. Eg: Java,
Golang, python, Node etc
. Proven experience of architecting and developing at least one distributed system
/Large component using modern technologies
.



Exposure to various design patterns in building systems using microservices
. Exposure to API frameworks and API eco systems and integration patterns
. Proven experience of software life cycle (SDLC) Processes and common tools and
technologies such as git, Jira, Jenkins etc used in software development.
. Large scale application concepts like scaling, log management, Monitoring, and
alerting is a must
. Basic knowledge of any RDBMS system and good experience in writing Queries to
various datastores (MySQL, Aerospike, ES, S3, Redis)
. Experience in implementing and practicing Agile techniques to deliver project
. Experience in managing customer centric projects and their lifecycle, Idea to
Production/Go Live
. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and some degree of
experience in interfacing with senior management or Heads of business verticals.
. Strong skills in leadership, negotiation skills, decision making, client engagement,
execution and drive.
. Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast paced, changing
environment to meet deadlines.
. Knowledge of E-commerce/Supply Chain/Logistics/Warehousing/CRM/SAP etc
would be an added advantage.
. Exposure to technologies, platforms and concepts such as AWS, Containers,
Microservices etc big plus.
. Experience on developing Automation Scripts is a big plus.
