We Offer
You will be part of the Service Delivery Platform - Network Optimization team, focused on streamlining, optimizing, and automating shipping/vessel operations via advanced software solutions. You will join one of our highly capable scrum teams in Copenhagen and will work closely with both business and technology to build the digital backbone of our global shipping logistics business.
As a Software Engineer your focus is to ensure that the team delivers high quality and high value software products for our business.



You will take part in design discussions and contribute to the technical direction of the team. Being hands-on in software development, you would actively engage with stakeholders from both business & technology to align expectations and remove roadblocks.

Your Responsibilities

- As a frontend engineer in the Network Optimization team, you will be expected to architect, develop, test, and deploy high quality and high impact software solutions and UIs.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineering, UX, and management across different teams and geographic locations.
- Following a DevSecOps approach, your team will own the products you build end-to-end, and you will take part in design and development, support and operations, automated testing, settings up CI/CD pipelines, scripting infrastructure (IaC), and much more.




- Design and architect digital solutions, factoring in functional and non-functional requirements, standards and principles, and our current technology landscape.
- Work with your team to ensure high quality standards, good development practices, and an agile mindset.
- Mentor less experienced software engineers and share your knowledge with the Maersk tech community.
- Continuously stay up to date on relevant technologies and use this knowledge to push the team forward.
- Propose ideas and provide key input to the product and leadership team on product roadmaps and technical initiatives.

Your Qualifications

- You are a highly competent software engineer with proven experience building complex single-page applications.
- You have a deep understanding of TypeScript, Vue.js, and the surrounding ecosystem of libraries and best practices.
- You are a highly efficient collaborator that puts the team first, yet you are able to own and drive initiatives independently when relevant.
- Having worked in an agile team before is a plus.
- Some exposure to backend technologies, cloud solutions, and containerized applications, is a plus but not required.
