You will support regional sourcing initiatives either under the leadership of a regional/global category manager or independently. Responsibilities:



Localization of GIS/PASS components - Castings/Machining/Sheetmetal/Electrical components/LCC/CT/Fabrication. Achieve KPIs set by Business - Cost reduction, Localization content, Supplier Quality & Supplier consolidation. Supplier Identification, Audit & Qualification. Perform make or buy analysis. Issue RFQ and Negotiating agreements with suppliers, and periodically renewing pricelists, terms and conditions. Participate in Supplier Development Activities to Continuously improve Supplier Performance. Collaborate with global Category teams. Close coordination with Parent unit. Collaboration with GPS/TC, Supplier Quality and Operations team. Your background: A DME / BE degree, background in electrical, mechanical engineering. Ability to read Mechanical drawings is must . Minimum 5-7 years of experience in handling sourcing of casting, Forging & machining parts, electrical components, insulators, surface treatment processes, Fabrication, Sheetmetal. Good Communication Skills & Fluency in English. Willingness to Travel. Working knowledge of SAP.
