About this Role:

We are looking for a Writer with an eye for detail and expertise in English to curate user-generated content and contextualize content assets to specific roles. A successful candidate understands what kind of writing is appropriate for business executives and strives to provide exceptional, informative and engaging content to clients.

What you’ll do:

Create summarized perspectives from user-sourced reviews. Tasks include analyzing user-sourced content; organizing and structuring document outline; formatting content; incorporating expert feedback; and coordinating with editors and other stakeholders to ensure its timely publication.

Create new research notes from user insights, primary Gartner search and secondary research. Additionally, create contextualized research leveraging existing body of content to suit new roles or perspectives.

Curate role-agnostic research notes. Tasks include liaising with research teams; rewriting existing work; drafting edits; and checking facts.

Collaborate with different stakeholders to plan priorities for work, timelines and research collection.

Suggest improvements in processes and procedures to optimize work.

Undertake continuous, job-related training to maintain writing quality levels and improve individual skills.

Maintain an awareness of new terms or phrases coming into popular usage in your subject area(s).

Work on creating multimedia content for Gartner clients, including, but not limited to, infographics, video scripts, etc.





What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent

3-6 years' experience as a professional writer or in a comparable job role

Excellent command over English language

Ability to express complex and technical ideas in easy-to-understand language

Knowledge of the AP style will be an added advantage

Analytical and research skills

Ability to multitask and work in a deadline-driven environment

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (primarily Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite

Ability to demonstrate flexibility and openness to learn and undertake new writing projects

Ability to work on multimedia content - infographics, video scripts, is a strong plus
