Your Role and Responsibilities

An ideal Software Release Manager who will know what is happening in MaaS360 at any given point in time. You will work with multiple teams in IBM MaaS360 to ensure business objectives are successfully achieved, on time. You’ll keep track of plans for various releases, track execution of the plans, provide regular reporting on progress to all stake holders. You’ll identify, manage and mitigate delivery risks and ensure timely delivery of releases.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Risk management: Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.
- Own, plan & communicate all delivery schedules, commits (current & future) and changes including requirements, dates, and scope changes.
- Compliance: Ensure the releases meet IBM’s and the offering’s compliance commitments.
- Conduct & drive reviews: Weekly reviews; Release Readiness; Retrospectives, root cause analysis; Delivery Go/No-Go decisions
- Record and track progress to ensure all releases are delivered on time with expected quality & scope.
- Work between different teams at different locations to ensure there are no communication gaps.
- Explore technologies & methodologies and continually work towards making improvements in the release process.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or related discipline
- 6 to 8 years of total Project Management experience with either Engineering, Information Technology or Software Development projects.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimum direction.
- Ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries and within groups.
- Strong growth mindset,



flexibility, and adaptability to change.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiar with Cloud, Mobile Devices, SaaS platform, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum and/or Agile methodologies.
- Excellent written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and a good team player; Good interpersonal skills
