Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Human Resource Manager to join our growing team in Mumbai , India. This is a great opportunity to develop your HR career within a Global TIC business.

Based in Ghakopar West-Mumbai, this individial will drive the sector people plan in conjunction with Divisional and Group plans and acts as a single point of the contact for managers and employees in India for all HR and related.

Responsibilities

- Administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems, and safety and recreation programs
- Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, employee handbook,job duties, working conditions, wages and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits and perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes and employee disciplinary actions
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives and plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, payroll and employee relations
- Analyze training needs to design employee development, language training and health and safety programs
- Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates




- Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel policies and practices
- Investigate and report on industrial accidents for insurance carriers
- Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs and prepare and follow budgets for personnel operations
- Develop and/or administer special projects in areas such as pay equity, savings bond programs, day-care, and employee awards
- Provide terminated employees with outplacement or relocation assistance
- Contract with vendors to provide employee services, such as food service, transportation, or relocation service
- Ensure compliance with government labor requirements , by active communication with the regulalatory authorities

Skills / Qualifications

- 4 year bachelor degree from an accredited university with emphasis in business, human resources or related
- Eight or more years of progressive working knowledge and experience managing human resource department
- Demonstrate competency and knowledge in the core areas of human resource management
- Advanced knowledge on HRMS
- Outstanding communication skills in English / local language
- Working knowledge on the Indian labor law
