JOB SUMMARY
- To manage budgeting, forecasting and workflows for different departments
- To Supervise and ensure timely and accurate book keeping for Marriott & its affiliates.
- To ensure financial accounting is compliant to standards and is done accurately & in timely manner
- Monitor and establish effective internal control procedures.
- To ensure all finance related matters to ensure consistent compliance with corporate policy.
- To be responsible for all financial reporting and maintaining an MIS
- To Manage Day-to Day accounts and ensure accurate reporting of financial statements on monthly basis.
- Handle audits and taxation related issues by liaise with compliance team and internal tax department.
- To drive competition of all Internal and Statutory Audit and provide necessary details as may be required by the Auditors.
- To work on all direct and Indirect tax compliances
- To assist team in completing the set activities on timely and accurate manner.
- To drive various new initiatives including process & controls enhancement within the department.
- Uses problem solving methodology for decision making and follow up.
- Presents ideas, expectations, and information in a concise well-organized way.
- Manage time well and possesses strong organizational skills.
- Informs and/or updates the executives and the peers on relevant information in a timely manner.
- Able to work under minimum supervision.
- Handle ad hoc operations issues/projects/assignments.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- Qualified Chartered accountant with minimum 5 years post qualification experience.
- Should have experience of handling a team in the previous role
- Experience with accounting software such as Peoplesoft will be advantageous
