Job Description Summary

- In this role, you will play as Technical Illustrator role for user documentation (IFUs) delivered to end customers and service documentation deliverables catering to field service engineers. This role requires knowledge of content management system as well as know-how of use of the system. Technical Illustrators work closely with product development teams, engineering teams, technical illustrator, graphic designer, editors, and localization team.

You are responsible for

- Provides graphic/illustration support for service and user documents
- Creates design and layout of special IFU documents, such as Quick Guides
- Performs first-article inspection of all printed manuals
- Illustrates disassembly (parts removal/replacement) and system installation instructions; Cabling diagrams & Installation procedures and diagrams
- Creates and modifies graphics for service manuals
- Isometric exploded-view diagrams




- Cabling diagrams, photos, and screen captures
- Service manual navigation aids

- Authoring; ST4: Authoring; Adobe Photoshop: Photo editing, resizing, mock-ups, file conversions, etc;
- Adobe Illustrator: Illustrations, line drawings, charts, file conversions, etc; Visio : Flow charts, etc;
- SolidWorks: Creating 3D models, drawings, opening CAD files, etc; WinSCP: Uploading documents to PAL; CD Burner XP: Burning discs; WinZip: Zipping and unzipping files for archiving, uploading to eMatrix and eIFU, etc.; e-Matrix; MS Office; systems; transducers
- Manage content with Adobe FrameMaker/ Microsoft Office or equivalent
- Prioritize work, balance multiple projects, and meet strict deadlines, with proven ability to work on many projects concurrently.
- Willingness to work on systems hands-on.
- E2E ownership of assigned manual to deliver, gathers the required support/inputs
- Enumerating Illustrations and graphics and manage associated tools like Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop tools.

- Engineering Graduate from Electronics, Software , Mechanical, Biomedical Engg.
- 8 – 12 years of experience in Technical Illustrations
- Positive hold of English Grammar and possess effective communication skills
- Practical experience in any content management system
- Basic know-how of XML
- Preferred: Background in producing medical device user documentation; experience in project management and/or localization also a plus.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry,



as well as working in a procedure-intense department.
- Handle tasks in terms of managing user controls, import or export of strings.
