JOB DESCRIPTION
Role Proficiency:Perform analysis research and find resolution of business problems under guidance.
Outcomes:
1. Work with cross functional teams to gather and analyse information and recommend solutions
2. Perform research and study of specific work problems and procedures related to UST clients or internal stakeholders and provide solution recommendations to managers
3. Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of the new systems procedures or organizational changes

UST HealthProof Compliance Team Member HealthProof is looking for a candidate to join its Compliance team. This individual will work closely with the Offshore Compliance Officer, the Chief Compliance Officer and other team members to continue to develop the Compliance Program while successfully supporting business owners including assisting with customers' compliance requirements, providing vendor oversight and helping auditors conduct internal and external auditing activities. This position requires an in depth understanding of all aspects of US health plan operations and the role compliance plays in supporting the business. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to create and nurture internal and external business relationships. You are an excellent problem solver who has the ability to quickly grasp the needs of an internal Account and/or Project Manager/account team and/or customers and work with them to resolve potential challenges. Ideally your goal -- in addition to successfully completing deliverables -- will be to help safeguard HealthProof and customer compliance activities. This position includes a range of responsibilities that will give you the opportunity to utilize and expand upon your compliance and US health plan knowledge and expertise. These responsibilities include: . Successfully work on an individual basis and as a team member to implement and sustain a compliance infrastructure that supports HealthProof business. . Use your experience to plan and lead internal audits and risk assessments that will confirm HealthProof alignment to contractual obligations,
HIPAA safeguards and other privacy and security controls . Participate extensively in account level audits conducted by customers or their third-party representative . Lead coordination efforts with UST HealthProof colleagues and auditors to conduct HealthProof certification audits, including SOC 1, SOC 2, HITRUST and ISO 27001 . Extend support to the HealthProof Vendor Management team with respect to onboarding activities and auditing downstream vendors and other HealthProof partners . Work with internal and external partners to investigate potential security risks, security incidents, identify root cause (RCA), develop and oversee implementation of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to their completion . Develop proactive working relationships with HealthProof Account and Project Managers - on and offshore . Support the account teams in tracking and adhering to contractual obligations . Assist in developing training courseware for Compliance programs and work with external vendors to rollout the training courses . Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Required Skillset: . A minimum of 4-5 years' IT experience . Domain knowledge of US Healthcare and/or Healthcare Compliance . Excellent verbal and written communication skills . A minimum of 2 years' experience in performing internal audits (Compliance audits, security audits) & coordinating external audits (SOC 1, SOC 2, HITRUST etc.) and the ability to present results of the audit . Strong focus on data quality and attention to detail . Ability to work efficiently as a team and collaborate with account teams . The ability to concurrently oversee compliance activities for multiple accounts/vendors and meet stated deadlines . Solid focus on data quality and attention to detail .
