Position: Restaurant Manager

Experience: 4 to 7 years

Salary: 70K to 90K or Negotiable

Location: Powai, Mumbai

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Hire and train staff members.
- Ensure that health and safety protocols are adhered to.
- Keep a meticulous record of income and expenses.
- Order ingredients in the correct quantities for the kitchen staff.
- Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
- Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
- Manage restaurants good image and suggest ways to improve it
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
- Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
- Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations




- Communicate with customers to receive feedback and manage complaints.
- Open and close the restaurant on time.

Qualifications/Knowledge, Necessary Skill, Experience, and abilities requirement

- Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent experience. Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager , or similar role
- Extensive food and beverage (F&B;) knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait for staff
- Familiarities with restaurant management software, like OpenTable and Peach Works
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Acute financial management skills
- BSc degree in Business Administration; hospitality management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to professionally address customer complaints.
