The Risk and Identity Solutions (RaIS) is a key component of the Value-Added Services (VAS) PD within Visa. VAS-RaIS has a suite of high visibility, high-volume, revenue earning applications that provide solutions related to Risk Management, Identity and Authentication. Our capabilities are used extensively by key players in the payment eco-space across the globe. Succesful candidate will be highly effective working both independently and in cross-functional capacities to identify, define, analyze, prioritize, and refine technology requirements across all categories.

Successful candidates will be skilled at forging strong partnerships with business sponsors, product owners, architects, and developers to define feature sets, story maps, detailed user stories (functional and non-functional) to support the development process.

This function will address bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints to maximize business benefit.

Beyond the design and planning stages of the development lifecycle,



strong Agile expertise is required to collaborate with Scrum teams and communicate requirements to development teams for execution and implementation.

Core responsibilities

- Define end to end solution to enable new payment methods, new partner integrations in different markets. Identify dependencies on other products to deliver a complete end to end solution.
- Contribute to the development of the overall product strategy, product roadmap, and business plan for payment processing to support market expansion.
- Work closely with Product line owners, marketing, sales, Support,
customers, partners and engineering teams to define and develop detailed product/ business feature requirements.
- Participate and sign off in product demo. Ensure product features are well understood and implemented as requested.
- Evaluate new product opportunities and bring forward proposals for products to expand the capabilities that are aligned with business strategy.
- Define and implement strategy for the rapidly building new integrations with payments processor in different markets.
- Actively prioritize product backlog and participate in release/Sprint planning ceremonies

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications:
• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

• 8-10 years of industry experience within a technology environment, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software systems or services.
• Educational background in Computer Science/Engineering. MBA is a plus

• Technical experience in Java technologies, API (SOAP & Rest) & Web Development





• It will be an added advantage if the candidate has experience working in Financial Services and Product Development space (in one or more of the following areas– Merchant & Partner portals, Risk & Fraud management, Identity and Access Management, Payment Security, Tokenization etc.).

• Hands on experience in developing roadmaps, writing user stories, grooming product backlogs and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast paced, ever changing environment.

• Proficiency working in an agile environment.

• Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills with the ability to work in a global environment and drive consensus in cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to interface well with clients and partners at all levels.

• Outstanding communications ability to a diverse customer audience, executives, product, and technology stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret business requirements, both implied and explicit, from stakeholder communication and convert them into technical requirements with strong acceptance criteria for the tech team to implement

• Solid business acumen

• Working knowledge of compliance regulations (PCI-DSS, GDPR, CCPA, etc) would be considered advantage.

• Experience demonstrating strong leadership, self-motivation and accountability

• Fast learner on both technical and business side

• Strong customer centric mindset.
