At InUnity, we are working towards one goal; youth entrepreneurship for community development. Simply put, we are encouraging young people to explore their potential for building solutions that can help communities prosper.
We do this by acting as catalysts to bring together engineering students, community stakeholders, and grassroots innovators to co-create effective and meaningful solutions for local stakeholders by collaborating with industry associations, academic institutions and government agencies that are in line with our mission. Through this collaboration we want to encourage youth entrepreneurship in the region and ultimately create the largest network of creative students across Karnataka.
We have a number of strategic models through which we reach out to our direct beneficiaries, i.e. our students. We either collaborate with institutions to run our semester long Social Innovation Courses,
run a 3-month long program for students with a passion for problem solving or running internship cohorts for the students.
The Social Innovation Program (SIP) which is currently running at 4 institutions and catering to 2,500 students every year is one means through which we are nurturing and promoting community-centric education at institutes. In this program, our students work with grassroots innovators from the region to develop engineering solutions for community problems.
Presently, we are in collaboration with ComedK, where we have set up 8 physical centres in various regions across Karnataka, 4 of which are set up in Bangalore. Our mission is to build products and solutions for the next billion by catering to the tier-2 and tier-3 cities and with the right people joining hands, the our vision doesnt seem so far away.
