- The candidate will be responsible for guiding students on study abroad for countries like UK, USA, Ireland and Australia.
- Provide all the information sought precisely by the parent and/or student. Clarifying doubts in filling up form or doubts of any other nature.
- Advising students in application procedures, visa applications, applying for accommodation and preparing students for Interviews if any at the consulate.
- Assist the students in filling relevant admission paperwork.
- Liaising with universities in getting the student admission letters.
- Ensure admission and visa procedures along with accommodation and travelling done within deadlines.
- Following up with students for payments.
- Stay updated about the various study abroad programs, requirements offered by college/universities and use the knowledge in helping students.
- Maintain a proper database of students counselled and applications sent to abroad.
- Tracking the progress & process of Student Visa applications for different countries.
- Working on agreed targets set on a monthly basis and responsible for timely reporting to the manager.
- Assisting with activities to promote universities represented by the company.
Candidate Profile:
- Candidate should have pleasing personality with effective convincing and selling/typewriting skill.
- Excellent Command of spoken and written English as well as local languages (Hindi, Telugu) & Interpersonal Skills to build solid rapport with the students/clients.
- Responsible and self-motivated with a result driven approach.
- Ability to perform under pressure and be result-orientated, adhere to time-lines and achieve targets.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Overseas Education System or any other Academic Counsellor/ or any other industry/freshers.
- Proficiency with the use of standard office applications on personal computers.
- Ability to learn on own initiative and research best study options for students.
