Responsibilities:

- Design, build, deploy, and maintain custom automation products to meet the needs of internal customers
- Partner with other internal teams to gather/elicit requirements from appropriate stakeholders
- Maintain and develop the automation tooling used to support this program
- Represent the Security Automation team as an subject matter expert
- Documentation requirements for all automation processes
- Process and workflow orchestration
- Troubleshooting methodology creation during automation development
- Create and maintain development methodology
- Identify quality issues and author reports needed for upper management
- Eliminate defects and errors with product and software development

Requirements:

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in computers/related field
- Proficiency in maintaining automation equipment needed
- 3 years previous experience on a security operations or security incidents team
- 2 years previous experience with software development or relevant education/experience
- Hands on software engineering experience with one or more languages, e.g.



python preferred.
- Experience with REST APIs and integration work
- Understanding of security incident response and security operations tooling and process
- Some experience with automation tooling and process (SOAR, etc)
- Some experience with cloud computing platforms AWS, GCP or OCI – experience with serverless code (AWS Lambda, etc) is a plus
- Experience with infrastructure as code processes and tools
- Team player mindset - encourages collaboration between yourself and other teams
- Flexible and constructive approach to building the automation program
- An ability to communicate clearly on your projects
- An understanding of how to write scalable code
- Understanding of Secure DevOps principals and CI/CD pipelines
- Configuration management tooling experience recommended
- Critical thinking and proactive problem solving
- Automation certifications a plus
