Risk and Control Objective

Hybrid Working
We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We're versatile on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.

Introduction:
Assist the Front Office Team PAN India as face of the Client Due Diligence team and ensure that the KYC documents are scrutinised and verified at the same level at managed centrally out of the Mumbai location.
Co-ordinating with the Service Manager and Private Banker (front Office) in facilitating a seamless and error - free Diligence and Review of client files.




Review and complete required forms for completion of a client file up to the standard required. Check and perform a Review on the overall status of the client.
Manage queries from business and co-ordinate with other stakeholders to resolve such queries.
Manage controls from a risk and control agenda on all areas during the Client Life Cycle.
Raise, track and escalate Trigger event Reviews and Periodic Reviews not completed within the said deadlines.
Objectively provide a quantitative assessment during Key Risk Indicators and areas in the FC space.
Handling internal quality assurance and Barclays Internal Audits.

What will you be doing
Ensure compliance with the policy and standards of client service, regulatory compliance requirements, front-office procedures, AML/KYC requirements, product delivery and operating model
Know Your Client, Client On-Boarding & Due Diligence from a Document Review perspective having good understanding of Local KYC, nuances of KRA and CKYC.
Fair knowledge of global diligence requirements including source of wealth, FATCA / CRS regulation & Client Money Asset standards.
Ensure day to day tasks are performed as per the agreed SLA and in controlled manner
requests for Client Maintenance
review and work on Alert Management as part of continuous client screening
dissemination of accurate Management Information.

What we're looking for:
Strong track record in risk and control with experience of implementing risk and control techniques e.g. risk identification, risk assessment, risk mitigation, and risk management ideally gained via working knowledge of Operations or Operational Risk Control/Management. Experience of Wealth Management, Investment Banking, Asset Management, or broader Financial Services environments would be advantageous.
The right candidate will have an excellent command of the English language, with strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels
The right candidate will have the ability to execute and drive through issues and actions. They will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. They will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of working to deadlines, together with strong organisational skills and the ability and confidence to make business critical decisions.
Graduate / Post graduate in any discipline

Educated to degree level or equivalent or have an appropriate professional qualification e.g. C.A., I.C.A.I etc.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent command of the English language with strong written and oral communication skills and an ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the business.
