Job description

We are looking for an experienced UI / UX Designer to spearhead the entire design process. You will be a self-directed, assertive, and creative leader responsible for designing the LCX product suite. As an institutional crypto assets exchange, we expect you to have a holistic understanding of our user's trading experience, as well as the requirements of professional investors and traders in traditional markets. LCX is a highly collaborative environment and we are looking for a capable team leader, skilled in eliciting, capturing, and integrating ideas into the overall design. You will be the figurehead of the product design team, working alongside the best engineers, business developers, and partners. We expect solid attention to detail (bordering on obsessive) and the desire to leave no pixel misaligned. We expect you to bring strong conviction to the design process while maintaining complete openness to feedback and evidence-based change. In short, we are looking for someone with solid opinions, weakly held. As a UI / UX Designer at LCX, you must demonstrate a long history of web and app development as well as experience throughout the entire design lifecycle. This means you Translate UX concepts into flow charts and interaction diagrams. Create high fidelity wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Collaborate with front-end software engineers to implement and fine-tune designs. Follow principles of user-centered design to support,



test and iterate in accordance with user feedback Above all, you will consistently ask yourself how does this design decision maximize business and user value? Responsibilities Lead and execute the entire design lifecycle for multiple products from initial concept, ideation, and alternative generation through to production. Collaborate with subject matter experts and a multi-disciplinary team (e.g. professional traders) to identify user & business requirements. Address UI / UX pain points to devise elegant solutions and create intuitive user experiences. Integrate business objectives into design concepts, capturing and communicating ideas through visual designs, storyboards, UI specifications, sitemaps, user flow diagrams, interaction models, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices/interfaces. Develop UI / UX deliverables for handover to engineering and development (e.g. exporting redlines, packaging assets, animating visuals, creating high-resolution mockups & InVision prototypes). Implement a system for evidence-based design and quality assurance, conducting usability tests to discover and correct flaws with user flow. Stay on the forefront of trading and exchange technology, influencing the design of LCX in tune with design trends and prominent competitors. Make strategic design and UX decisions related to core, and new,



functions and feature Basic Qualification Formal design education. Candidates with a tertiary degree (or equivalent) are preferred. 3 experience in UI / UX design across the entire product management lifecycle (from ideation to shipping). A strong portfolio of work demonstrating core skills. Expert level experience creating storyboards, UI specifications, sitemaps, user flow diagrams, interaction models, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, etc. Mastery of standard UI / UX software such as Adobe XD, Figma , Sketch , Photoshop, Illustrator , Zeplin , Invision etc. Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. Experience with SVG animation design. Experience with detailed interaction design in mobile contexts. Experience with visual design. A strong eye for typography. A solid grasp of user-centered design, UI / UX principles, mobile-first / responsive design, orchestrating user research, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, and heuristic analysis. Ability to iterate designs and prototypes quickly to convey core design concepts. Ability to receive constructive criticism and incorporate feedback into designs. Experience with trading systems in any market. Fluent in English (oral and written communication). Experience with Web contexts. Experience with motion design. Interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain.
